Dr. William P. Hoffmann, D.D.S.

Dr. Hoffmann completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Minnesota after graduating from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He is board certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association, and the Minneapolis District Dental Society. 

Dr. Hoffmann is a Fellow in the International College of Dentists and has also been recognized several times by both the Mpls/St Paul Magazine and Minnesota Monthly Magazine as a "Top Dentist." Dr. Hoffmann is passionate about volunteering his services throughout the twin cities and abroad, being honored with the MDA Humanitarian of the Year award, the WCCO Good Neighbor award, and the ADA International Volunteer award. Recently he was recognized as the Guest of Honor by the Minnesota Dental Association at the Star of the North Dental meeting. 

Dr. Hoffmann enjoys practicing the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with special interests in oral tissue grafting, dental implant reconstruction, tooth repositioning and transplantation, and temporomandibular joint surgery. 

Dr. Hoffmann and his wife have three grown children, and they currently live in Minnetonka. He enjoys golf, scuba diving, fishing, running, reading, and volunteer work. 

Our Clinical Staff.  Our clinical support team is trained in all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery. All of our dental assistants are CPR certified and have received further training and certification in the AAOMS Dental Anesthesia Assistant National Certification program. 

Our Administrative Staff. The administrative staff is a team of friendly business professionals ready to assist you in handling all necessary arrangements for your office visit. They are well versed in insurance reimbursement and are happy to help you in reimbursement and processing of your claims.
